Gnc Fish Oil Lawsuit

What is a fish oil pill safe?

I'm looking for fish oils safe to take. Preferably in the form of a pill. Wikipedia says "A March 2010 lawsuit filed by a California environmental group revealed that eight of the popular brands of fish oil supplements contained levels excessive PCBs, including CVS / pharmacy, Nature Made, Rite Aid, GNC, Solgar, Twinlab, and Health, Omega Protein and Pharmavite "so I would like avoid these brands. Is there any oil pill fish products with low PCB to maintain healthy my health? One type of cod liver oil would be better (=

I can say that they do not live in California or you would know it was just lawyers trying to make money from companies by abusing Proposition 65. ;-) Yo I can get into more detail about whether he had e-mail, but basically California has more stringent restrictions on many chemicals and nutrients (Some of which are naturally occurring in many natural products) … in fact, the restrictions are so strict that any resident tap water and almost all the grocery stores would not pass his Proposition 65, if not take advantage of a loophole in allowing them to avoid it. What was initially intended as a clean air and water act (Since California had contaminated the air and water), but has become a park advocate ever since, unfortunately. With that being said, make sure you looking for a company that uses molecular distillation … That is basically the industry standard fish oil high quality effectively removes enough of PCBs, mercury, lead and other contaminants that would be about damn undetectable levels (around 70 or 90 nanograms per serving if I remember correctly) that the body is easily able to process out and many, many times less than you can find fresh fish (or processed fish sticks for that matter). As for specific brands, there are many here only respond to any personal preference would be … I can give my preference if you wish, but provided they are molecularly distilled, all will be practically the same (and could be the same source). As for cod liver oil, which is effectively the fish oil with extra vitamins A and D. .. probably not necessary (as opposed to fish oil having a regular) if you take a good multivitamin, but it depends on what else is in your diet. Good luck and I hope this helps clarify!
